Managed backup service
When we manage your backup, the following are included regardless of the platform you use.
Backup schedules, retention and recovery order are planned around how quickly each system needs to be back.
Our engineers install and configure the platform, migrate existing backups where needed and complete a test restore with you.
A copy of your data is kept in a Tier III or Tier IV datacenter in Mumbai, away from your premises.
Offsite copies cannot be altered or deleted during the retention period, even with administrator credentials.
We monitor every backup job, fix failures and inform you about anything that needs your attention.
Scheduled restore tests and recovery drills, with reports you can share with auditors.
Disaster recovery
Backup lets you restore data. Disaster recovery lets your business keep operating after a major failure. For critical systems, we prepare a recovery plan, document it and test it with your team.
We agree which systems are restored first, how quickly, and how much data loss is acceptable.
We set up a standby environment in Mumbai and write a step-by-step recovery runbook.
We run recovery drills on an agreed schedule and fix anything that does not work as expected.
If an incident occurs, our engineers carry out the failover and keep you informed until normal operations resume.
Backup keeps copies of your data so that files, databases or whole machines can be restored. Disaster recovery goes further: it keeps a standby environment and a tested plan so your critical systems can run again quickly after a major failure, such as a ransomware attack or loss of your main site.
It depends on what you run. Satkosh suits laptops and servers where simple, affordable backup is the priority. Acronis Cyber Protect combines backup with endpoint security. Veeam is a strong choice for virtual machines and larger environments that need fast recovery. We recommend one, or a combination, after reviewing your setup.
Yes. We can review your existing setup, add missing pieces such as offsite or immutable copies, and take over day-to-day management. You do not need to change platforms to work with us.
Yes. For example, Satkosh for staff laptops, Veeam for virtual machines and Acronis for Microsoft 365. Our team monitors and supports all of them, so you still have one point of contact.
In India. Offsite copies are kept in Tier III and Tier IV datacenters in Mumbai. With Satkosh, you can also keep backups on your own storage.
No. Restores are free on Satkosh, and there are no restore or download charges on our managed backup services.
